Imran Khan who wooed the audience with his chocolate boy looks and charasmatic acting in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, is surely stepping into the shoes of his uncle, Aamir Khaan. The actor whose looks suit him best for romantic roles, doesn’t want to be sterotyped in any particular role. THat is the reason, he has decided to take on a rather challenging role in Sanjay Ghadvi’s Kidnap.

Imran Khan will be essaying a negative role of a kidnapper. He plays the part with great elaan as the promo shows, but onnly time will tell when the movie releases, if Imran can get fear into the audience’s mind. A very difficult thing to do, considering his sweet looks.

Imran,  plays a character with shades of grey, who kidnaps Sanjay Dutt’s daughter played by Minissha Lamba. Sanjay Gadhvi who has been the man behind the Dhoom series is directing this action thriller. Kidnap is all set for a release on 2nd October  2008.

Last year’s most talented newcomer, Neil Nitin Mukesh who made a smashing debut in a rather complex role in Johnny Gaddar, will be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s next film Jail.

FASHION may well be Madhur’s last women-centric movie for a while. As per the director, his next project will be about three male prisoners, aptly titled JAIL. Madhur promises that it will be another hard-hitting subject. So will it be similar to Nagesh Kukunoor’s Teen Deewarein? Guess we will have to just wait and watch.
