Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next movie, Guzaarish, after the abysmal Saawariya he made a while back stars super stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in the lead.

In the film Hrithik plays the role of a paraplegic patient while Aishwarya plays his nurse. Hrithik Roshan who is paraplegic pleas and fights for mercy killing himself.  The film also stars Aditya Roy Kapoor, Monikangana Dutta and Nafisa Ali. The story of the film is set in Goa.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali says, “It’s a very unique subject. It has been handled very, very sensitively, specially by the actors and their performances. We have taken care that it’s done gently, correctly because it’s a very important debate.”

The film is slated to hit theatres on 19th November.

A few months back, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were the buzz in tinsel town. Their romance was the talk of Bollywood. But just within a flash the news spread out that they are no longer couples.

Deepika Padukone, in a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror revealed the reason why she broke up with Ranbir Kapoor. The super hot beauty said that she was not very happy with Ranbir’s conduct with other women. This left her feeling insecure.

Here is what Deepika, who is rumored to have broken up with Ranbir because of his closeness to Katrina Kaif during the filming of Rajneeti, had to say: “If my man gives me my security, why would I be possessive? Then I wouldn’t ask him where he is, what he is doing or even who he is with. If my partner is doing things, which betray my trust, then I will become possessive. You become possessive only when you know there’s something going wrong, not just for the heck of it. It’s not about the kind of person I am, it’s about the person I am with.”

Yash Raj Film’s first offering for 2011 will be the romantic comedy Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The movie directed and written by  Ali Abbas Zafar will see Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Pakistani pop singer, Ali Zafar in the lead.

Ali Abbas Zafar has previously been an assistant director on a number of Yash Raj Films productions such as Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Tashan, New York and Badmaash Company.

Set in the upper middle class strata of North Indian society, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is scripted as a musical romantic comedy which will see Imran Khan play the role of a brother who gets smitten to his brother’s (Ali Zafar) bride!

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is all set for a 2011 release. The story of the movie is allegedly similar to the Hollywood movie, Dan In Real LIfe. Back home Onir’s Sorry Bhai had a similar story.

The Sanjay Dutt and Manyata wedding saw a new controversy opening up, what with Dino and Kangana caught red handed smooching each other.  Kangana latter denied this totally and said that it was just a friendly peck and not a smooch that the media was making it out to be.

Kangana in a press release said that : “I know Dino for a while now. We’ve met socially and even had a few laughs but to make it seem like there is something more is terrible.”

Anurag Kashyap is back with his next flick, the movie has a rather odd title, That Girl In Yellow Boots and is a story of the quest of a girl for her father. In the journey of searching for her father, the girl is forced to work in a massage parlor and comes across many adversities.

That Girl In Yellow Boots staas  Anurag’s sweetheart Kalki in the lead. Kalki was earlier seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Dev D. Apart from Kalki the movie also stars Naseeruddin Shah..

That Girl In Yellow Boots is  written by Kalki herself, has already received critical acclaim and will be screened at the forthcoming Venice Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival next month.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish starring Hrithik and Aishwarya Rai however has not been able to create much of a buzz. While the promos look amazing, the subject of the movie seems more arty and not to the interest of a large section of the audience.

Guzaarish is set in Goa and has music given by Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself. Due to Hrithik’s and Aishwarya’s busy schedule Guzaarish initially got delayed. As a result though Bhansali wanted to start the shooting of the movie by early 2009, the start got delayed since Hrithik Roshan suggested to postpone the film until he wraps up his home production Kites.

Deepika and Imraan Khan’s next rom com, Break Ke Baad is about a couple who decide to take a break from their relationship and see if they really do love each other. The promos seem interesting and we hope that this will not be a disappointment like a few previous rom com flicks released this year.

The music of Break Ke Baad has already started catching on with the audience. Vishal Shekhar’s fresh music and Prasoon Joshi’s catchy lyrics have done the trick.

Deepika Padukone has become the female version of Emraan Haashmi of Bollywood. What with every other movie of hers having a kissing scene with her co star.

Her next film, Break Ke Baad, a romantic comedy directed by Danish Aslam also involves her getting all cosy with Imraan Khan under a table. The movie is produced by Kunal Kohli.

Yash Raj Films next offering this year is Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh’s Band Baaja Baarat. The movie is based in Delhi. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is about two people – Shruti and Bittoo – who are just out of Delhi University. A chance meeting brings them together to reluctantly start an  entrepreneurial venture – Wedding Planners.

The two of them however decide that it will be only business and no love shuv. But in the city of love, doing a business of getting hearts together, can the couple look at a better opportunity.

The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma, who worked with Aditya Chopra as an associate director on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, with music by composers Salim-Sulaiman.

A thing to be noted is that this is Anushka’s third film and third one with Yash Raj Films too. Do you smell something cooking here?

Catch a sneak peak at thee theatrical trailer of the movie. While the promo is good as are most Yash Raj Film promos, the absence of a strong actor in the lead may be the films initial biggest pitfall.
