After letting the media do most of the talking while she was in — and then out of, and then back in — jail, Paris Hilton gave her first interview since the ordeal on CNN’s “Larry King Live” Wednesday night (June 27). She opened up about the “traumatic” experience, telling the host that she’s learned from her mistakes — but still believes she got a raw deal.
“It was a very traumatic experience, but I feel like God does make everything happen for a reason,” the rejuvenated heiress told King. “It gave me a timeout in life just to really find out what is important and what I want to do, figure out who I am.” She added, “It was nice to be away from all the flashes for a while.”
Hilton’s interrupted 23-day jail stint — for violating probation that stemmed from a DUI arrest — began when she unexpectedly turned herself in to authorities after making a surprise appearance at the MTV Movie Awards on June 3

Law enforcement sources are blabbing about Lindsay Lohan’s toxicology report, saying it revealed the 20-year-old had nearly twice the legal limit of alcohol and traces of cocaine in her system the night she crashed her Mercedes.

We haven’t been able to confirm the details yet and she does seem to have cleaned up her act in rehab, but she’s still not off the hook. Beverly Hills Police spokesman Lt. Mitch McCann told People TMZ “won’t be sued for inaccuracy.”
For the first time since 1988, Bon Jovi tops The Billboard 200. “Lost Highway” sold 292,000 in United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, the rock troupe’s biggest one-week sum since Nielsen began tracking sales data in 1991. The Island/Mercury Nashville set is Bon Jovi’s third No. 1 album, joining 1988’s “New Jersey” and 1987’s “Slippery When Wet.” Sales were fueled in part by the group’s new country fanbase, wrangled in with the 2006 No. 1 Hot Country Songs hit “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” featuring Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles.

In “Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix”, Harry returns to his fifth year of study at Hogwartz only to discover that much of the wizarding community has been led to believe that the story of the teenager’s recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort is a lie, putting Harry’s integrity in question. Worse, the Minster for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, has appointed a new defence against the Dark Arts teacher, the duplicitous Professor Dolores Umbridge. But Professor Umbridge’s “Ministry approved” course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry is convinced to take matters into his own hands.

You can stop cringing at the idea of another Die Hard installment. Bruce Willis nails it in this fourth go-around, with just as much spectacular action to give any adrenaline junkie a good fix.
The story, too, is just as out-there as only a good Die Hard installment can be. Seems the enemy this time is a slick computer hacker, Thomas Gabriel (Timothy Olyphant), who holds the U.S. hostage by systematically breaking down its digital infrastructure. First, he takes down the transportation grids, then creates panic on the financial market and finally, he shuts off all utilities—gas, electricity, et al. The hackers call it a “firesale” (as in everything must go), but it isn’t as far-fetched as one might think. Of course, what Gabriel doesn’t figure on is one NYPD cop named John McClane (Willis), who inadvertently gets involved when he’s called to pick up Matt Farrell (Justin Long), a young hacker being targeted by Gabriel.
America’s favourite family, The Simpsons are back, this time to hit the big screen. So be prepared for lot and I mean really a lot of Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart and of course a lot of “Dougggggghhhhh”. Homer Simpson must now save the world from a catastrophe he himself created.
As Matt Groening, the producer of Simpsons Movie noted, “I can’t imagine people look in the TV section of the newspaper and think, ‘I’ll watch this week’s Simpsons because I like the plot.” You just tune in and see what happens. We couldn’t agree more Mr. Groening.
Twentieth Century Fox is fulfilling the wish of many a Simpsons fan by taking America’s favorite family to the cinema–and trailers of Simpsons are already running in theaters. The movie version of cult animated TV series The Simpsons will hit cinema screens in July 2007. It will hit the big screen on 27th July in India. We are pretty much excited to watch the film. And if you are a Simpsons fan I’m sure you are pretty much excited too.

So what are you waiting for. Check out the latest Simpsons movie trailer …..
Socialite Paris Hilton has been released from prison on after serving 23 days of her 45-day sentence.
The hotel heiress was handed the sentence last month after being found guilty of violating her probation from a drunk-driving arrest last year.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy Dana Camarillo agreed to the star’s early release from Lynwood, California’s Century Regional Detention Center for good behavior.
The 26-year-old was met by waiting paparazzi as she left prison at 12:15 a.m. (PT) on Tuesday.

Her mother, Kathy Hilton visited the socialite at Lynwood California’s Century Regional Detention Center on Saturday and claimed the 25-year-old is “very, very excited to see the family.”
She added, “Paris is doing really well, she is really looking forward to going home, and she thanks you in the press who supported her. She wants to be with the family and she can’t wait to take that orange suit off.
“She’s sick of orange, but her health is good. She looks like Paris.” Veteran broadcaster Barbara Walters has turned down the chance interview Paris Hilton when she is released from jail, because she deems it “beneath” her.
Even though she lived without her normal grooming necessities, the heiress looked as put together as usual in a grey jacket, white t-shirt and jeans. Nice work! She even exited the jail like every other released convict - through the front door. After embracing her mother, the family sped away to her parents’ house in their chauffeured SUV.
