Aditya Pancholi and Kangana Ranaut have finally split ways. And it is time to throw around the muck. Aditya Pancholi reveals in an interview the bad side of the sweet innocent looking Kangana Ranaut.
“We have stopped seeing one another for a while now. Some time back she called me to say she wanted money, about Rs 1 crore, to buy a house. (This, after she had complained against me to the police.) I called up a banker-friend and stood as her guarantor and got her a loan of Rs 50 lakh.

Then, I gave her Rs 55 lakh cash from my pocket. Of this, she has returned Rs 25 lakh. She still owes me Rs 30 lakh. I’ve also spent Rs 10 lakh on her sister’s plastic surgery, after the acid attack. But I’m not asking for that back. I paid all the bills. When Mukesh Bhatt asked back for her signing amount of Rs 50,000, I paid that for her too. I’ve written all that off. But I’d like to have the money that I lent her for her house.”

The bitterness has now made way for a calmer acceptance of the situation. He says, “We were as good as husband and wife. I was actually building a house for  both of us on Yari Road. We lived together for three years at a friends’ place. I used to show her a lot of movies.” He continues, “Kangana didn’t have a penny when I met her. I saw her the first time on the road. She was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. It was June 27, 2004. She was drenched, and sitting on a bike with a guy from the Asha Chandra Acting Institute. I was supervising the construction of a building.

Kangana Ranaut And Aditya Pancholi’s Relationship

Aishwarya Rai is perhaps in one of the best phases of her life both professionally and personally. Her marriage into the Bachchan family has bought in a lot of happiness in her life. Also professionally her movies are doing great. what with her last three movies, Guru, Dhoom 2 and Jodha Akbar declared as super hits.

But post marriage with Abhishek Bachchan , Aishwarya has been pretty choosy about the roles she accepts. She reportedly turned down Karan Johar’s offer to be in his next flick titled Dostana, as she thought it was too bold for her to do post marriage.

Here’s an exclusive interview with Aishwarya Rai about why she rejected a great role opposite hubby Abhishek and John Abraham in Karan Johar’s Dostana. Aishwarya also talks about her upcoming projects like director Mani Shankar’s Robot.

First things first. Did you turn down Karan Johar’s Dostana?
Yes. I opted out of Dostana because the inter-personal relationships among the three of us made me uncomfortable. Now that Abhishek and I are married the kind of quirky situations shown in Dostana, albeit in a comic vein, wouldn’t have worked.

But Dhoom and Jodhaa-Akbar worked although you were paired with Hrithik and not Abhishek?
But Dhoom happened before the marriage and there was no triangle in Jodhaa-Akbar. Now the audience can’t see me sharing my affections for Abhishek with another guy. I can’t tell you why it wouldn’t have worked for me and Abhishek as a pair without giving away the plot. Karan Johar wasn’t bothered with all these personal considerations. But I felt otherwise. I thought the audience would wonder, ‘She likes John and Abhishek equally? No way!’

Now you’ll be romancing Rajnikanth in Shankar’s Robot?
It’s a total Rajni/Shankar styled entertainer. There’s no logic to why I agreed to do it beyond the urge to work with Rajnikanth. Shankar and Rajni Sir have approached me for so many films, it’s embarrassing. Ever since Jeans (Shankar directed the film), Shankar’s approached me for all his films except Boys. Rajni Sir approached me for his last five films. My refusal to do his films was never misconstrued by him. I admire him for never taking offence to my refusal. It speaks volumes about his seniority.

Dostana Too Hot For Aishwarya To Handle

Normally stars like to keep their love affairs all hushed up and under wraps. But newcomers Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor seem to have no qualms to publicly declare their love for each other. After Ranbir Kapoor expressed his feelings for Deepika in an interview, it was Deepika’s turn to reciprocate.

 How did your romance with Ranbir begin?
We met while we were shooting for our respective debut films (Om Shanti Om and Saawariya). At that point of time it was very different because he hadn’t been in the limelight at all. It was a completely new thing for him whereas I was used to it, having been a model. We were both very involved with our films then. So we didn’t really get too much time to spend with each other. We went our separate ways after our movies were released and we just disconnected. Then we got together again when we were doing Siddharth’s (Anand, director) movie (Yash Raj Films). We were together for a month and that’s when it started.

Bollywood actress Amisha Patel, who recently broke off with her director-boyfriend Vikram Bhatt, was spotted with a tall, young man, rumoured to be her new boyfriend, on the first day of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) here.

The actress attended style guru Namrata Joshipura’s and designer duo Gauri and Nainika Karan’s show on Wednesday.

The actress, flaunting a bright orange knee-length dress, wasn’t present at the WIFW for any specific designer or fashion show.

What’s New In Amisha’s Love Life

Vidya Balan may have had a super hit in Sajid Khan’s Heyy Babyy but more than her acting it was her wardrobe that made more news. The ghastly costumes that Vidya adorned in Heyy Babyy drew some rather harsh comments from the critics and a big thumbs down from her fans.

Even Shahrukh Khan and Saif embarassed an almost about to cry Vidya Balan at the Filmfare Awards by awarding her a Na-Real Award for Worst Wardrobe. Vidya Balan who was mega embarassed at her wardrobe being ridiculed about shifted the blame onto her director Sajid Khan and her fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

Manish Malhotra was taken aback by Vidya Balan putting the blame on him. Says a furious Manish, who is currently  in Milan, “In my 17-year career as a designer, never before has any actress made such an issue about it.

She has been blaming me for her bad outfits and I have been quiet for a year. Not any more!  Vidya has been talking about me at public events.

She feels I gave her a bad look in Heyy Babyy! Pray what about the make-up, hair and outfit (Abu-Sandeep) she sported at the Filmfare awards? It was something like what people used to wear in the 1980s! And what were those horrible gaudy tassels that were hanging down  her dress?” he sneers.

Manish adds sarcastically, “According to her, I screwed up her style. If she thought my styling wasn’t right, why didn’t she put her foot down or simply call me and say ‘Manish, please send something else?’”

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are Bollywood’s latest love birds. The two who openly proclaimed of their love for each other at this year’s Filmfare Award, are the latest buzz that has hit Bollywood.

Here is Ranbir Kapoor in an exclusive interview, revealing his love for Deepika Padukone and talking about his Yash Raj Film, Bachna Ae Haseeno.

You play a Casanova in the Yash Raj Film?
It’s called Bachna Ae Haseenon; and I wouldn’t say that. It’s the journey of this man and the different relationships in various phases of my life.

Why was Katrina Kaif’s role knocked off?
It was getting too long. We had lots of discussions. And it was in the best interest of the film. Nothing personal. And it wasn’t only because we hadn’t shot her episode as yet.

Apparently, you get to kiss all your heroines in Bachna Ae Haseenon?
That’s absolutely incorrect.

And now you’re doing another film with Katrina!
Yes. She was already part of Raj Kumar Santoshi’s film when it came to me. It’s a lovely romantic comedy. I’m looking forward to working with Mr Santoshi who’s one of my favourite directors. He’s definitely one of the master storytellers of our times. He’s worked with my father in Damini. And now it’s my turn.

Have you been offered Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly?
Yes, I have. I’m honoured that someone of  Aamir Khan’s talent wants me to work in his film. We’re working on the dates. I’d love to be part of it.

There were rumours that you were in Mani Ratnam’s film?
I am, actually. But not in the Abhishek-Aishwarya one. He has contacted me for a film that he wants to do next year. I really want to work with him. I also want to work with Imtiaz Ali, Aditya Chopra, Farhan Akhtar…oh, so many directors. I’m like a kid at a toy store.

You’ve been linked with a gallery of gorgeous women in the last two years?
I think it’s very unfair for the women who are linked so carelessly with me. I can imagine how embarrassing it is for the girl and her family. Me being linked with Sonam Kapoor was inevitable. Every time two newcomers do a film together they’re supposed to be involved. We’ve been friends since childhood. She’s an amazing girl. Anyone would want her as a girlfriend. But we aren’t seeing one another.

Finally how does life look to you?
I’m extremely happy about the appreciation I got for my first film. My parents are very proud of me, and that makes me happy. And I’m very happy in my relationship with Deepika. I’m in a very happy place, I want to be this way all the time.

So are you seeing somebody?
Yes I am.

Are you seeing Deepika Padukone?
Yes, I am.

How long have you been seeing her?
We’ve been dating for the past couple of weeks.

Weren’t you linked with her earlier as well?
I was. But at that time we were just friendly. We weren’t seeing each other.

Is this serious?
Do I look like a frivolous person to you? But before you ask, we aren’t getting married right away. Let’s see where it goes. And neither are we going to sign films just to be together. She has her career to focus on. I have mine. Coincidentally, we started our careers on the same Friday. We’ve our priorities in place.

The magazines do not seem to have had enough of Kareena Kapoor. First it was Filmfare’s backless photo and now it’s Vogue.  Vogue has shot  some stunning photos of Kareena Kapoor. As the cover headline reads on Vogue, ” Kareena In Full Bloom”.

Indeed Kareena has seen a lot in the past six months. Having had a commercial success in Jab We Met and also getting a Filmfare Award for her performance in the same. Also personally her life experienced a lot, what with breaking up with longtime boyfriend Shahid Kapoor and starting a new relationship with Saif Ali Khan.

Subash Ghai is back holding the reigns of his next film, Black and White. Set out to be a socio political trailer with throws light on terrorism in India, Black and White will be a departure from the normal Subash Ghai, larger than life movies. Black and White which has been in the making for quite a while now has Anil Kapoor in the lead.

Main Chala is the latest track from the movie which has hit the various TV channels and here is an exclusive glimpse of it. The music of the film is given by Sukhwinder Singh.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya is as all set for release tomorrow. Tomorrow will decided the fate of the acting career of Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor’s acting career. Apart from Ranbir and Sonam, Salman Khan and Rani Mukherjee also make a special appearance in the film. Here is an exclusive interview of Salman Khan with Screen India talking about his future plans and about his role in Bhansali’s Saawariya.

After giving you a miss in Devdas, how did Sanjay Leela Bhansali convince you for Saawariya?
Sanjay Leela Bhansali just called me up one day and told me he was making a love story and wanted me to be a part of it. Before that we were to work on Bajirao Mastani but there were some date problems and the film got postponed. SLB decided to direct the love story with Sonam and Ranbir Kapoor first.

Your character in the film remains a dark mystery still.
I play a Muslim character called Iman. I love the name because my father wants to name my son Iman. You know it sounds good, Salim, Salman and Iman! But I would love to call my son prince Salim or Changez Khan (laughs). Iman is a mind-blowing character. He is a little khadus, speaks harshly but there’s a lot of humour in him. He is romantic and flirtatious.

This is your third film with SLB. How has your association changed over the years?
I remember he came to me with Khamoshi - The Musical when nobody was willing to do his film. When I read the script I realised it was not commercially viable, but I loved it anyway. I had nothing much to do in the film but I took it up only because of the script. I incorporated humour in my character which SLB didn’t like because he wanted my character to be serious. Eventually, he shot both ways and on the editing table liked my light-hearted character and retained it. SLB hasn’t changed at all. Even when he didn’t have a penny in his pocket he made lavish films and he’s doing that even today. Many a times he goes over-budget and it shows in the film. It shows what a fine technician and director he is.

With Saawariya and Om Shanti Om (OSO) releasing on the same day, don’t you think it will cut into each other’s collections?
No, I think it’s a good thing for both the films. If Saawariya came first, it would have affected OSO and vice versa. In any case I have a special appearance in OSO, so it’s good for me that are both releasing simultaneously. I am concerned though for Ranbir and Sonam as they are both simply fantastic. God forbid, if the film doesn’t do well they can take heart that they were pitted against a SRK starrer and start again.
