After the critically acclaimed Peepli Live thaat hit theatres this year, Aamir Khan comes out with another so called non - masses appeal movie, Dhobi Ghat. The movie is all set to release in a few months time. Directed by his wife Kiran Rao, Dhobi Ghaat is extra special to Aamir Khan. Aamir Khan plays a painter in Dhobi Ghat.  Prateik Babbar and Monica Dogra play the lead roles. Speaking about the film, Aamir Khan says, "Dhobi Ghat will not appeal to the masses as the film is based on a sensitive issue. Only people with a sensitive heart will be able to understand it. Based on the controversial and hyped Jessica Lal murder case, comes a movie, No one Killed Jessica. The movie which is all set to release next year in January, stars Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherjee in the lead roles. The movie is produced by UTV Spotboy and directed by Rajkumar Gupta who had earlier directed the critically acclaimed film Aamir. While Vidya Balan plays a character close to Jessica’s elder sister, Sabrina Lal, Rani is set to play a reporter. The music of No one Killed Jessica is given by Amit Trivedi of  Dev D and Aisha fame. Yash Raj Film's first offering for 2011 will be the romantic comedy Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The movie directed and written by  Ali Abbas Zafar will see Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Pakistani pop singer, Ali Zafar in the lead. Ali Abbas Zafar has previously been an assistant director on a number of Yash Raj Films productions such as Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Tashan, New York and Badmaash Company. Set in the upper middle class strata of North Indian society, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is scripted as a musical romantic comedy which will see Imran Khan play the role of a brother who gets smitten to his brother's (Ali Zafar) bride! Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is all set for a 2011 release. The story of the movie is allegedly similar to the Hollywood movie, Dan In Real LIfe. Back home Onir's Sorry Bhai had a similar story.

Bollywood's newest chocolate boy Ranbir Kapoor may not have a single hit on his plate but the actors prospects do not seem to be dettered by his dismal movies. Coming up this October is Dharma Productions, Wake Up Sid, starring a rather unusual pair of Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma. The movie is set in Mumbai and revolves around the romance between a young boy (Ranbir Kapoor) and an older woman (Konkona Sen Sharma). While the old woman and young boy romance has been several times in Bollywood in recent times, Wake Up Sid promises to provide something different on the plate.
