Kamal Hasan is all set to remake the hit Tamil psychological thriller Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu in Hindi. He has reportedly also offered Shah Rukh Khan to paly the lead role in the film, that of a police officer who is on a mission to hunt down a serial killer who has been  brutally murdering and raping girls. However Shah Rukh is currently in a dilemma as he has to choose between the remakes of two Tamil films -  Kamal Hasan's 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu' and AR Murugadoss's 'Ramanna'. Kamal Hasan's film would however give Shah Rukh Khan an opportunity to play the role of a police offer for the first time. Menon confirmed his eagerness to cast Shah Rukh and said: "I don't know where these reports of Salman Khan being an option for 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu' are coming from. It's Shah Rukh Khan, who is the first and only choice. Kamalji played the part in the Tamil original. So Shah Rukh seems the right candidate for the part."

Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 2 -- which will actually be the third part in the series of films - Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish is in the making and Hrithik fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the movie. The movie is all set to release in a few months time. Directed by his wife Kiran Rao, Dhobi Ghaat is extra special to Aamir Khan. Aamir Khan plays a painter in Dhobi Ghat.  Prateik Babbar and Monica Dogra play the lead roles. Speaking about the film, Aamir Khan says, "Dhobi Ghat will not appeal to the masses as the film is based on a sensitive issue. Only people with a sensitive heart will be able to understand it. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’ upcoming film “Guzaarish” starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is under controversy prior to its release. The medical community is against the poster of the film which shows the lead actress Aishwarya holding a cigarette. Doctors protested against this as it is imparting a wrong message to today’s generation on smoking. Oncologist, Dr Pankaj Chaturvedi from the Tata Memorial Hospital stated “We are going to write a letter to BEST and request the filmmakers to remove these posters immediately.” He said further, “Aishwarya Bachchan is a renowned actress and seeing her holding a cigarette may influence many young minds.”

Finally. Yes, finally the love lost, heart broken Vivek Oberoi does decide to get married. Vivek Oberoi married Priyanka Alva on 29th October. Priyanka Alva is the daughter of Karnataka Minister and Senior Janata Dal leader Jeevaraj Alwa and social worker Mrs. Nandini Alva. The first song promo from I Hate Luv Storys is out . The song titled Jab Mil Tu is quite pleasing on the ears. But unfortunately I do not see the chemistry between Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan.
