For all Priyanka Chopra fans, hereis some real good news. Priyanka has bagged the lead role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Fashion.

The film is set to go on floors by December end. Madhur will be shooting parts of the film in the fashion capital of the world, Paris and Milan. If this isn’t enough, for the grand finale, Priyanka will walk the ramp in the centre flanked by, hold on… none other than international supermodels Tyra Banks and Kate Moss. So guess after low budget films like Chandni Bar, Traffic Signal, Satta and Corporate, Madhur is finally decided to go in for bigger production values.

“It can’t get bigger than this. With Fashion, Indian films will go global in a big way. This is larger than life, we are in talks with other international and Indian top models and likely to close the deal soon,” says the associate producer of the film Ram Mirchandani. Priyanka who is shooting far away in the jungles of Namibia is elated to have bagged the film.

A new promo of Priyadarshan’s Bhool Bhulaiya is out. The Let’s Rock Soniye song video seems to be a celebration song at a wedding. Amisha Patel is once again sidelined as Vidya Balan, Akshay Kumar and Shiney Ahuja take the major footage in this video. The music for Bhool Bhulaiya is given by Pritam. Bhool Bhulaiya is all set to release next week on October 12th.

Ranbir and Sonam Kapoor are all set for their dream debut on 9th November with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Saawariya. Here is an exclusive interview of Ranbir and Sonam Kapoor (with Mumbai Mirror) , all excited and awaiting the release of their debut flick.

They’re 20-somethings, and evidently don’t believe in restraint. “Hell, I gave a TV interview where I said that my sister believes the sun shines from my nether regions,” laughs Sonam. “They will edit it, won’t they?” Chances are slim, you reply. Which draws whoops of laughter. “At least I didn’t say a#*e!”

Is this pressure talking, or joy? “No, Ranbir has truckloads of pressure on him, I don’t have that much pressure,” she replies cheerfully.

But she too has a lineage to live up to, with Anil Kapoor as father. “I don’t have to live up to anything as much as Ranbir. He has the whole Raj Kapoor banner to hold up,” she insists.

Ranbir, who so far has been watching his childhood friend-cum-co-star, comes to life. “Hey, why are you pressurising me so much?” he asks indignantly.

Is it the kind of pressure that leads to sleepless nights? “No, we sleep a lot,” says Sonam. Ranbir objects again. “That’s going to sound terrible in print. You better rephrase it.” Objection sustained. But Sonam is too busy laughing to rephrase anything.

The relationship between the two is obvious. Ranbir is the voice of reason and calm. Sonam is the voice of impulse and emotion. Ranbir listens, Sonam talks. Ranbir thinks a thousand times before acting, Sonam reacts without thinking.
“Sonam is a drama queen, she’s the modern-day Meena Kumari,” grins Ranbir, striking a dramatic pose. “Every day I used to go to the sets and wonder about the next episode of Sonam’s drama.”

“How can you be so cool and collected?” asks Sonam ruefully.

It seems it’s the season of big starcast films. After Farah Khan’s mega song, Deewangi from Om Shanti Om, here is another huge star filled song from Sanjay Gupta’s Dus Kahaniyaan.

Dus Kahaniyaan belongs to the genre of multiple story films, something similar to Ram Gopal verma’s, Darna Mana Hai. Sanjay Gupta has always tried something different, time and again with his films. Although his films may be rip offs of Hollywood ( Reservoir Dogs : Kaante) or Korean films ( Zinda : Old Boy) , they nonetheless are different from the Bollywood material. And yes, technically his films are real close to Hollywood films. But in terms of box oofcie success, none of his films have hit the bulls eye. Some have floped big time, while others have managed to just about break even.

But the daring Sanjay Gupta is not one to back out, his next film Dus Kahaniyaan,  offers 10 different stories , directed by 5 different directors and with a huge starcast to boast of. So one thing is for sure, you are not going to get bored.

As if tormenting the Indian audience with his nasal twang, wasn’t enough. Himesh is all geared to torment the overseas audience. Himesh Reshammiya has now decided to sing some of his popular songs in English now at a concert abroad.

Confirms the source, “Yes, Himesh is keen to turn over a new leaf in the world of entertainment. In the concert which would be held at the Heineken music hall, Amsterdam on 1st December, he would be singing his 5 best songs in English as well as Hindi.”

“See, 60% of the crowd at Amsterdam would comprise of people who don’t understand Hindi. Now Himesh has a huge fan base with the international audience. His popularity worldwide in each of the concerts being held has only proved this further. Till date whenever Himesh has performed abroad, he sings his chartbusters which are loved by his fans. So sad, but many of them don’t understand the language,” says the source.

Last week, Sanjay Bhansali, Ranbir and Sonam Kapoor, graced the sets of Amul’s Star Voice Of India. And the celebrities who hogged the limelight this week on Star Voice Of India were Konkona Sen and Kunal Kapoor. Konkona and Kunal were there to promote their film, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag which release next week ( Oct. 12th) .

After Beedi Jale Re, that had the audience wild. Bipasha Basu is back in another item song, Phoonk De, for Anurag Kashyap’s next film, No Smoking.  The music though not that great ( infact on first hearing you cannot even make out the lyrics) is sure to catch onto the audience because of Bipasha’s performance in the video. John Abraham, Bipasha’s offscreen partner, too shakes a leg in the Phoonk De song.

Here is another, exclusive trailer from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya. The song, Mashallah is yet another beautiful song from Saawariya. Kunal Ganjawala and Shreya Ghoshal come together for this gem of a song. Listen it for a few times and you shall soon be humming it.

The video shows a mesmerised Ranbir Kapoor singing the song in praise of Sonam Kapoor. The set is similar to the one in the other trailers of Saawariya, with the same aesthetic bluish look to it. Watch the video of Mashallah song and enjoy!!!

Check out the lead pair of Saawariya, Sonam and Ranbir Kapoor dazzle on the sets of Star Voice Of India. Ranbir Kapoor looked smart and confident and also performed a jig along with the contestants. But he will surely repent on jumping into the crowd and being attacked by the girls who couldn’t get enough of Ranbir.

Sonam Kapoor was very she and demure. Blushing a lot with the adulation she was receiving. Sonam turned pink when Sanjay Bhansali said that when Sonam came to the sets of Black, she was a tremendous : 90 kgs. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was all praise for his Saawariya stars and said that they had a long way to go in their film careers.
