Yash Raj Films is coming out with a film out of its romantic genre, Lafangey Parindey, directed by Pradeep Sarkar of Parineeta fame is up for release. The movie stars Neil Nitin Mukesh  and Deeppika Padukone for the first time together The story is set in the gritty streets of Mumbai. Lafangey Parindey is about the bike gangs of Mumbai. Neil, who has performed some daring stunts in the film, plays a character with an interesting name - ‘One Shot Nandu’. Deepika on the other hand will be seen in an action-based avatar - Pinky Palkar, where she will ride bikes and do daredevil stunts. The actress reportedly refused to use a body double. Bravo Deepika. Priyadarshan may be better known for his mad cap laugh riots, like Hera Pheri and Hungama. But the man has some power charged action drama's like Virasat and Gardish to his name. And now he is back with a hard hitting film based on the honor killings done in the state of Bihar. The movie titled Aakrosh.While the movie is not a remake of any of Priyadarshan's regional films, the trailer gives a view that it may be an adaptation of Missisipi Burning. The trailer made an appearance first during the screening of Vidhu Chopra's Eklavya. The buzz generated around the movie was huge. But its been three years now and still no news. Apart from Bachchan, the major portion of the trailer is digitally developed and enhanced with special effects. The film is intentionally given a blue colour theme throughout. Interestingly the text font of ‘Talisman’ used in the trailer is directly derived from the font of ‘Harry Potter’ series from Hollywood. While the movie is said to be inspired from Chandrakanta, the great Indian epic tale. From the trailers we see a clear resemblance to the Hollywood film, Lord Of The Rings. Vishak Bhardwaj’s assistant Abhishek Chaubey comes up with Ishqiya, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi as two petty criminals from Bhopal who are on the run and find shelter in Vidya Balan’s house on the UP-Nepal border, only to start a wooing game with her. Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone star in Imtiaz Ali's love saga Love Aaj Kal. Pritam who had given music for Imtiaz's last super hit romantic musical Jab We Met continues the successful partnership with Love Aaj Kal. Akshay Kumar's and Kareena Kapoor's hugely publicised and one of the biggest movies of 2009 is all set for release this week. Kambakkht Ishq stars Hollywood stars Denise Richard, Sylvestor Stallone and Brandon Routh. Akshay plays a Hollywood stunt man while Kareena plays a super model.
