Yes, you heard it right the 1980's theme of a snake all set to take her revenge is back, but this time in the modern era. The movie titled Hiss is directed by Jeniffer Lynch and will have Mallika Sherawat playing the nagin. The story of "Hiss" follows a ruthless American who, fascinated by the ancient folklore of the nagin, travels to India to find out the truth. In the jungles of India, he captures the mate of the nagin for the magical powers of its nagmani, a mythical gem embedded in its hood. Watch out an exclsuive theatrical  trailer of the movie Hiss.

Ranbir Kapoor may have been only a few films old, and those filmsmay have not set the box office exactly on fire. But still the actor is the next thing in Bollywood. Rajneeti, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and now Yash Raj Film's Rocket Singh. Ranbir seems to be raring to go. Yash Raj Film's Rocket Singh has the Chak De team of Shimit Amin and Jaideep Sahni coming together. Ranbir plays the role of a salesman in the film. Finally the much talked about "Kites" movie trailer is out. A sneak peak of the movie starring superstar Hrithik Roshan, Kangana Ranaut and Barbara Mori was revealed at the Cannes Film festival. Kites is produced by Rakesh Roshan's FilmKraft, but this time Roshan Sr. will not be directing the film, but ace director Anurag Basu will be donning the mantle. Imtiaz Ali who directed the wonderful romantic comedy Jab We Met is back with his next romantic film. The movie is titled Love Aaj Kal and has Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the main lead. Apparently Kareena Kapoor who was the star of Imtiaz's last film, Jab We Met, was very upset that Imtiaz had decided to star Deepika Padukone and not her in the lead. But despite Kareena Kapoor's massive sulking, Imtiaz decided to go ahead with Deepika Padukone as he thought she best suited the character.

Ram Gopal Verma is all set to release his next film, Rann, which is a take off on the news and media men of our times. Rann features Amitabh Bachchan in the lead and his character is supposedly inspired by NDTV's Pranab Roy. The movie also stars Rajpal Yadav, Gul Panag and Riteish Deshmukhin lead roles.

Check out the first look trailer of Rann movie. The music of the back ground track of Rann is taken from our national anthem, Jana Gana Mana. This is sure to set a controversy of some sort.

David Dhawan's comic flick Hook Ya Crook is in the shooting stage and is a movie with a back drop of cricket around it. The movie is centred around the current media scenario in India. The film will focus on the press and expose the behind-the-scenes truth of how a truth telling machinery, has no choice but to corrupt itself to become a money-making and power-brokering enterprise.

Hook Ya Crook is a comedy thriller from the stable of UTV Productions. David Dhawan will be seen directing this entertainer. Starring John Abraham, Kay Kay Menon, Shreyas Talpade, Genelia D'Souza in the lead, Hook  Ya Crook will be seen releasing later this year. Hook Ya Crook is also supposed to see Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a special appearance.

Sujoy Ghosh who debuted as a director with the musical comedy, Jhankaar Beats, will be seen back in action with the fantasy tale of Aladdin and The Magic Lamp. Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing the character of the genie, while Riteish Deshmukh will be playing the role of Aladdin.
