The man who gave us the most delightful super mega film, Kal Ho Na Ho was surely completely at loss to explain what mess he had created with the much hyped Salaam-E-Ishq. And no he  is set to shut  his critics up with Chandni Chowk To China.

The film is an action comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the lead. The movie that releases in Diwali this year is one of the most anticipated films to be released this year.

Yash Raj Films are surely in a bad state again this year. With Tashan being a complete dud at the box office and Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic doing just average business. Yash Raj movies seem to be concentrating more on quantity and less on quality hence the failure.

But all is not lost yet, Siddarth Anand who gave Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum is back with another love story, Bachna Ae Haseeno. The promos seem fresh and the star cast eveen fresher. With Ranbir Kapoor making a second debut of sorts cast opposite Deepika Padukone, Minisha Lamba and Bipisha Basu.

The ever dependable Vishal Shekar handle the music department and have indeed provided a chart buster sound track in Bachna Ae Haseeno. Here’s a trailer of the melodious song Khuda Jaane sung by K.K.

Akshay Kumar must have suffered his first blow since last year with this year’s release Tashan. But Singh is after all the King and Akshay Kumar promises to bounce back with Vipul Shah’s Singh Is King. The Vipul and Akshay pair have given super hits like Waqt, Namastey London in the past and Singh Is King promises to continue the trend.

Neha Dhupia and Akshay current hot screen lead, Katrina Kaif provide the female glam quotient in the film. Singh Is King which deals with the spirit of positivity and how having confidence in once self leads to becoming the King Of The World.

Aziz Mirza the director who gave us such beautiful films like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Yes Boss and Chalte Chalte gets a rather unusual pair of Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan on screen with his film Kismat Konnection . While Shahid has tasted recent success with Jab We Met, Vidya Balan has also had two super hits with Bhool Bhulaiya and HBeyy Babyy being two of the biggest successes of the past year. But the pairing is definitely unusual. Shahid with his chocolatey boyish charm and Vidya with her mature looks definitely look odd together.

But with a man as experienced as Aziz Mirza to select such a cast there must have been a proper reason. So let’s just wait and see for Kismet Konnection to hit the theatres this month, and we will know what will be the Kismet off this movie.

The Kismet is definitely good on the music front with Pritam being bang on with his sound track. Here’s a look at the Move Your Body song from Kismet Konnection. While Shahid dances suavely, Vidya definitely makes a mockery of herself with moves that do not suit her.

Mallika Sherawat is back with the team that gave the hit comedy yaar Ke Side Effects. But instead of Rahul Bose, talented actor Ranvir Shourie is cast opposite Mallika Sherawat. Directed by debutante Sachin Khot, the movie promises to be one mad cap comedy, and with Ranvir in the thick of things you can surely expect to have a hard time laughing.

While Anu Malik, who surely seems out of form with Love Story 2050, tries his luck to be back with Ugly Aur Pagli and he atleast manages abit with the Talli track. Sung by Hard Kaur, Talli is surely to be a hit with the club and disc audience.

The movie titled Rock On is  about a rock band of four friends, music and friendship. Rock On has Farhan Akthar debut along with Prachi Desai. After the success of Taare Zameen Par, Amole doesn’t wwant to look back. Painter, activist, social worker, actor and filmmaker Amole Gupte is all set to direct his second feature film. Amole continues filming a world he empathises with passionately.

“Children,” exults the creative director of Taare Zameen Par, one of the most important films of our times, “Children will be part of all my creative endeavours. I work with Aseema and other organisations. My aim is to work with them.”

Amole’s next film is called India Item. “I’m just about wrapping up the script that has 40 children in the cast. Like Taare Zameen Par, India Item will be a playground for my creativity. A part of the script is about rollerskating. When I saw Sammir Dattani in Mukhbiir I immediately wanted to cast him in one of the film’s adult roles of a rollerskater. To my surprise he turned out to be a national-level skating champion.”

Sammir plays the protagonist’s younger brother.

The Aziz Mirza directed film Kismet Konnection is already topping the music charts and Pritam seems to have scored once again. Wth the Vidya Balan and Shahid chemistry creating quite a stir.
