After a successful film in Jab We Met, when Imtiaz Ali ditched Kareena and took Deepika Padukone for his next film post Jab We Met, it surely had Kareena getting angry. But Imtiaz was adamant that Kareena wouldn't suit the role and it would be Deepika only who would play the part oposite Saif Ali Khan in his next film. Months later,  Imtiaz has announced his next film and yes, it will have Kareena in it. Thus breaking rumors of any squabbles going between the two.  Akshay Kumar will also star in Imtiaz Ali's film with Kareena Kapoor. Imtiaz Ali and Kareena Kapoor have a three film contract with Shree Ashtivinayak Cinevision and this Akshay starrer is likely to be one of them.

Rohit Shetty's Golmaal turned out to be one helluva laugh riot and now he is back with a sequel to Golmaal, named Golmaal Returns. Ajay Devgan and Tushaar Kapoor are the only two from the previous film who star in Golmaal 2.  Kareena Kapoor replaces Rimi Sen in this Golmaal. Sonam Kapoor is surely having some real bad luck as newcomer Bangalore based model Anushka has replaced her in Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Aditya Chopra who was in search for the lead lady in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi his third film after superhit blockbusters like Mohabbatein and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has Shah Rukh Khan play the lead role of a 40 year old man and Anushka plays a 19 year old Punjabi girl. The movie is inspired from the cult English classic My Fair Lady, which was also a Shakespeare play.

After Hulchul and Hungama, Priyadarshan and Akshay Khanna combo will try and woo audiences once again with the comedy Mere Baap Pehle Aap. Like most films of Priyadarshan, Mere Baap Pehle Aap too takes inspiration from down South. The film is a remake of Malayalam hit Ishtam, directed by Sibi Malayil. Mere Baap Pehle Aap stars Akshaye Khanna, Genelia D'Souza, Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.

Hrithik Roshan and Suzzane Khan have been blessed with another child. And Hrehaan has got a baby brother to play with. Hrithik’s wife Suzanne Khan gave birth to a boy on Thursday at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. The baby was born at 11.27 am local time. The boy is said to be healthy and weighs around 3.3 kgs. “Both the baby and the mother are doing fine,” a doctor at the hospital told a news agency. Hrithik, who accompanied her right to the door of the delivery room, was seen beaming with pride. Hrithik had been putting off all his travels, outside Mumbai, for last few weeks because of Suzanne’s pregnancy. The couple had said, in an earlier interview, that they were looking forward to a girl, as they already have a cute son named Hrehaan. They had also added that they’d be equally excited, if it’s a boy. And a boy it is indeed, for the star couple! Sister-in-law Farah Ali Khan, who became spokesperson for the Roshans and Khans, said Hrithik was on top of the world. “One look at the baby and Hrithik said, ‘He looks so much like his brother, Hrehaan!’,” reported Farah. “He’s the most perfectly formed baby I have seen. Hrithik stayed with Sussanne all through.”

Dasavataram, one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year, has been cleared by the censors with a clean U certificate. Produced on a budget of a whopping Rs 70 crores, Dasavataram was cleared by the censor board yesterday, All the members of the regional censor board appreciated the efforts of Kamal and the director to giving a clean entertainer. Most of the members described their experience using words like mind blowing, awesome, fantastic, excellent, brilliant, masterpiece etc. According to a member, the film runs for 2 hours 46 minutes and is said to have graphics and special effects of Hollywood standards. All the members appreciated Kamal’s extraordinary efforts to show variation in all the 10 roles he plays in the film. “No doubt, it is the master piece from our legendary actor Kamal. Watching his movie as a censor board member is a great honour for me.”, said a member sensationally! Bollywood's hot babe Mallika Sherawat has also been taken in this film to perfrom a sizzling pole dance. Kamal Hassan's Dasavataram will have Kamal Hassan play ten roles and is inspired from Lord Vishnu's  ten avtaar's. We were told that Karan Johar's Dostana will fiddle with controverssy and here's the reason why. According to sources in the industry, John Abraham is set to star as a gay in the movie. Karan Johar who did give a comic touch to the gay relationship with the Kaanta Bhen stuff in Kal Ho Na Ho, will be having John play the role of a gay in his upcoming film Dostana. Dostana also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. Shilpa Shetty will be seen performing a hot bikini item number in the film.  Says an insider on condition of anonymity, “The love triangle in the film is between Abhishek-Priyanka-John. Abhishek loves Priyanka in the film. But Priyanka likes John. Abhishek and John play good friends. So for the sake of friend Abhishek, John fakes as if he is a gay to repel Priyanka”. This is the first time that John Abraham (or for that matter any mainstream actor) would be playing a gay character in a Hindi film.

Apart from Jhoom Barabar Jhoom that bombed miserably at the box office last year, Preity Zinta hasn't had any release for almost two years. The actress who was looking  plumpier with each passing film was rumored to have gone to UK to undergo a liposuction surgery so as to remove that extra fat. But AyeshaTakia has dismissed all rumors of her undergoing any such surgery.  “She has not gone for any such cosmetic changes. Ayesha is busy shooting for her film. These talks are utter rubbish,” said her angry father, putting all the baseless rumours circulating about his daughter, to rest. The nominations for the prestiguous IIFA Awards which are akin to the Oscars in Bollywood are out. The controversial things about this time's awards though is that Aamir Khan's critically acclaimed Taare Zameen Par will not feature in the list of nominations. The reason being Aamir Khan's failure to fill in the nomination details for Taare Zameen Par for IIFA Awards. So that means Chak De India is most likely to sweep most awards this year round.
