With only four days to go for the release of Aamir Khan’s Ghajini, the wait seems endless. Starring south star Asin and Jiah Khan, the film directed by south director A. Murgadoss, has been in news for the superbly sculpted body developed by Aamir Khan for the movie. Within one year, the dedicated Aamir Khan attained a body that would put the best bodies in Bollywood to shame.

Ghajini has a wonderful soundtrack by A.R. Rehmaan. The music may not be Rehmaan’s best, but does have touches of the master musician. The best track of the film is undoubtedly Kaise Mujhe Tum which has a soulful haunting track. The music will take a while to get onto you. But once it does, you won’t stop listening to it.

Yash Raj Films has turned into a factory of sorts, churning one movie after another. After Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, the next big film from Yash Raj Films is Kabir Khan’s New York. Kabir Khan had earlier made the critically acclaimed Kabul Express. And with New York, Kabir Khan goes huge not only in terms of his canvas but also with the huge starcast of John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh and the current hot girl of Bollywood, Katrina Kaif.

New York, a romantic thriller is based on international terrorism and set in New York. John, Katrina and Neil play three friends discovering a new world. All of them have different characteristics and qualities. With just one thing common between them, they are all Muslims.

One day the world around them changes completely and they realize that the common thread between them is their religion. New York also has Irrfan Khan plays an investigating officer.

Rakesh Mehra’s Delhi 6 is finally closing to an end and is all set for a release earlier next year. Starring Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor, the movie is the story of Rohan ( Abhishek Bachchan) who returns from America with his grandmother (Waheeda Rehmaan) to Delhi 6 and enters into an unforgettable journey.

Rakesh Omprakash Mehra who gave us the highly energised cult film Rang De Basant is back to take the box office by storm with his next release Dilli 6. Starring Sonam Kapoor of Saawariya fame (?) and Abhishek Bachchan, Delhi 6 is set for a release earlier next year.

Delhi 6 is inspired by Rakesh Mehra’s own child hood days that he spent in Delhi. Delhi 6 is the story of American-born Roshan (Abhishek Bachchan), who brings his ailing grandmother back to India. Little does he know that the quick trip will turn into the longest journey of his life – a journey within. The backdrop of the story is the ancient walled city of Delhi, a character in herself. She represents the chaos, religion, beliefs and ethos of the Indian people. The pin code of the city is 110006, and with pride of love they call her Delhi-6.

Delhi 6 also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman in cameo roles.

Nikhil Advani the maker of films like Salaam-E-Ishq and Kal Ho Na Ho is out with his third flick, Chandni Chowk To China. The movie stars the current Midas man of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar. After Singh Is King’s success, Akshay Kumar has reached seventh heaven. If he could carry a weak script like Singh Is King and turn it into a blockbuster hit. The man surely has the touch of Midas.

Chandni Chowk to China has Akshay Kumar play a small time cook in Chandni Chowk who turns out to be a king of a Chinese country in his last life and now has to move to China, to save his civilisation from evil forces. The comedy thriller is set for a release in January 2009.

After wooing the audience in Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Shah Rukh Khan would be seen next in Priyadarshan’s Billo Barber. Billo Barber is a story about a barber (Irfaan Khan) whose life is turned upside down when his superstar friend Shah Rukh Khan comes to visit his village. The movie has Lara Dutta playing Irfaan Khan’s wife. Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra  and Katrina Kaif play small guest appearances in the movie.

Biilo Barber is a Sudama Krishna story of new times. Billu (Irrfan Khan) plays a small time village barber whose business is running low because he has not been able to upgrade himself according to the changing trends. One fine day, a film unit visits his village to shoot a movie. It stars a superstar (Shahrukh Khan), who was once Billu’s school friend. All at once, Billu’s status in the village changes, and he becomes highly respected. Everyone wants him to meet the superstar. But Billu is unsure, as he feels he cannot compare to the superstar’s status. Besides, he fears that the star may not recognize him. He makes many attempts to meet the star but fails. After all these hardships, he gives up. But people think that he lied about the relationship with the star and start insulting him. His family and children also gets upset.

In the end, for an invited school function, the star reveals his past. He tells the audience that in his school days he had a friend who always stood by him in his hardships. He tells how much the friend helped him by providing food when he was hungry, provided clothes when he did not having any. He tells that the friend gave him the money to join acting by selling his ancestral ear ring and that friend happens to be Billu. At that time the people recognize Billu and the movie happily ends.

Billo Barber,  is a remake of the Malayalam film Kadha Parayumbol, has already been remade in Tamil as Kuselan starring Pasupathy and Rajinikanth following a poor box office reception. The project is scheduled to release in February 13, 2009.

Inspired by Christopher Nolan’s Memento, Ghajini directed by A. Murgadoss is one movie that is all set to bring the box office sales soaring high up. With Aamir Khan in the main lead of a man with a short term memory loss, all set to avenge his wife’s revenge, Ghajini is a nail bitting thriller.

The amount of effort Aamir Khan has taken physically for the film is quite visible through the trailers of Ghajini. And thee kind of body, Aamir has built up for Ghajini has left the likes of Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan baffled. Aamir has surpassed their efforts of years in just a few months all credit to his dedication and effort. It is rumored that Aamir had a gym created amidst a desert, cause he did not want to miss even a day’s of workout. Now that is dedication!
