Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is a simple love story that most of us will relate too. An ordinary government employee falls in love with a beautiful damsel. Luckily for him, both of them get married. But the girl is not happy with the marriage. What she vies for is love and that she can hardly feel for her husband. Burdened with a marriage, she tries to overcome her  sorrows by participating in a dance competition. But there is one problem, the competition requires her to participate along with her husband. How dance gets two of them close and blossoms love between the couple forms the gist of the story.

The Shah Rukh Khan and newcomer Anushka’s film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is all set for a release  on  12th December 2008. Aditya Chopra handles the mantle of a director after a real long time. The music by Salim -Sulaiman have already clicked with the audience and are topping the music charts. Jaideep Sahni has done a fantastic job with the lyrics too.

Check out the peppy video of Chance Pe Dance, with Anushka trying to teach Shah Rukh Khan a step or two in dancing. Expect a fun filled romantic film coming your way on 12th December. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi may be cliched but it is going to ROCK!

After the excellent Black Friday, director Anurag Kashyap degraded as a story teller with the rather confusing self goading No Smoking. But though No Smoking was crap, as far as the screenplay and narrative was concerned, the director still impressed with his execution of a few of the scenes.

And coming next from Anurag Kasyap is a dark film Dev D, which takes inspiration from the classic Devdas, is a modern take on the yesteryear’s classic. Abhay Deol who plays the lead role in the film and is supposedly sought to have pitched the story idea to Anurag.

Debutants Mahi Gill as Paro and Kalki as Chanda along with a horde of new characters that is to be introduced in the film. The two new comers show a lot of promise in the trailer.

Here’s hoping Anurag gets his act right this time round with Dev D. Go ahead and watch the trailer from this promising film…….

With Rock On becoming a huge hit, Farhan Akthar proved that along with being a good director, he was an excellent actor too. And now it seems Farhan would be more seen in front of the camera than behind the camera. And I Am sure no one is complainig!

The promos of Farhan Akthar’s next film as a lead, Luck By Chance are out and by the looks of it, the movie seems rather interesting. Luck By Chance is a story of two struggling newcomers, Farhan Akthar and Konkona Sen Sharma, who dream to make it big one day in the world of Bollywood.

Luck By Chance also stars Hrithik Roshan, Isha Shravani, Rishi Kapoor and Juhi Chawla making this one a rather ensemble starcast. Directed by Farhan’s sister, Zoya Akthar, the movie needs to be seen to know whether Bollywood actually runs in the blood of the Akthar’s!

A 15 year old Sikh boy is on of the most wanted thieves of the city. What has been his ambition is that he wants to be rich and to have lots of money. He has been getting inspired from riche school kids, luxury cars, power windows and rich girls. What Lucky understands from life is that if you want a thing, you have to steal it.

Lucky has been living in a small house having a violent relationship with his father and he is a keen observer of people around him. His friends are school dropouts and street criminals. Along with his friend Bangali, Lucky graduates to become a thief and then he meets a man Gogi Bhai, who is a musical bandleader, in search of stolen things.

Lucky meets Dolly, who is star dancer and she has a college going sister Sonal, who is romantically involved with Lucky. Lucky loves to be independent and he has a hunger to reach the sky. He takes a wrong path to get his dreams and now he is playboy who just wants more money and wealth.

Last December he brought tears to your eyes with his heart wrenching story of an autistic child with Taare Zameen Par. And now Aamir is back this December to captivate you with his performance in Ghajini. Ghajini directed by A.R. Murgadoss takes inspiration from Hollywood flick Memento and is a tale of a man’s revenge over his wife’s murderer’s. The only problem is that he has lost his memory!

With music by A.R. Rehman, Ghajini promises to be a chartbuster. The Behka song was shot over a period of 20 days in South Africa with Aamir Khan sporting six different looks. Asin and Jiah Khan play the female leads opposite Aamir Khan in Ghajini.

Shot on a huge budget of Rs. 90 crores, Ghajini is set for a release on 25th December.

Abhay Deol, Paresh Rawal and Neetu Chandra get  together in Dibankar Banerjee’s Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! Dibankar fresh after Khosla Ka Ghosla’s success sticks to the comic genre with Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!

Oye Lucky! seems to be somewhat similar to Shaad Ali’s Bunty Aur Babli, which was about a pair of conmen using their wits to make money. Though Bunty Aur Babli was all flashy but had no soul, with Dibankar holding the reins, Oye Lucky! promises to be a comical laugh ride. Abhay Deol and Paresh Rawal are sure to have you in a tough time with their gags and superlative comic timing.

Paresh Rawal also plays a triple role in the film. So if one Paresh could have you rolling with laughter, just imagine what effect three of them could have. Releasing on 28th November, this one is a must watch! For now catch a trailer of this laugh riot.

Yash Raj Films release Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi will see the power packed pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra together after a very long time. Their lost two films were big big superhits, Mohabbatein and DDLJ broke all box office records after their release.

Starring Shah Rukh Khan and newcomer Anushka Sharma, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is an extra-ordinary love story of two very simple people. While after the promos there were some rumors of Shah Rukh playing a double role in the film, none of it is true. SRK infact goes through a makeover in the movie to help his lady love Anushka win a dance competition in the movie and inturn win her heart.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has some rocking chartbuster music by Salim Sulaiman and choreography by Vaibhavi Merchant.

Shahid Kapoor who did a great job last time we saw him in Kismet Konnection is back this time as a music teacher in the children’s film Paatshala. So will Shahid play a Shah Rukh ala Mohabbattein or will he do an Aamir ala Taare Zameen Par?

Shahid has a horde of talented kid artistes including the popular tv soap Baalika Vadhu’s lead artiste , Avika Gor. Nana Patekar, Sushant Singh and Ayesha Takia also essay important roles in the film.

Reliance Big Pictures makes their foray into commerical cinema with Paatshala. The movie is directed by debutante Milind Ukey, who has written the story and dialogues for the popular animated children film, Hanuman. So will Paatshala click for Milind? The first look trailer atleast made us at movietonic, nostalgic of our school days. So here’s hoping to a rocking film, Paatshala!
