Sonam Kapoor is surely having some real bad luck as newcomer Bangalore based model Anushka has replaced her in Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Aditya Chopra who was in search for the lead lady in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi his third film after superhit blockbusters like Mohabbatein and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has Shah Rukh Khan play the lead role of a 40 year old man and Anushka plays a 19 year old Punjabi girl. The movie is inspired from the cult English classic My Fair Lady, which was also a Shakespeare play.

After Hulchul and Hungama, Priyadarshan and Akshay Khanna combo will try and woo audiences once again with the comedy Mere Baap Pehle Aap.

Like most films of Priyadarshan, Mere Baap Pehle Aap too takes inspiration from down South. The film is a remake of Malayalam hit Ishtam, directed by Sibi Malayil.

Mere Baap Pehle Aap stars Akshaye Khanna, Genelia D’Souza, Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.

Imran Khan, the nephew of Aamir Khan makes his screen debut opposite Genelia DSouza in the romantic comedy, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. The movie is produced by none other than Aamir himself. The movie is Abbas Tyrewala’s first directorial venture.

Imran Khan promises to continue his uncle’s legacy with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. The movie has some great soothing music by A.R. Rehman and the song Kabhi Kabhi Aditi is indication of that fact. Surely a fresh romantic story is always welcome.

Here’s hoping tha Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na promises to get the freshness at the theatres that it promises of.

 E Niwas who gave us the very enjoyable film Love Ke Liye Kuch Bi Karega, comes back after a long time to give us another comic film. The film titled De Taali stars Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh, Ayesha Takia and Raima Sen in the lead. De Taali was initially titled JALSA , but later was renamed.

The full to comedy film revolves arond three friends, Ayesha Takia, Aftab Shivdasani andd Riteish Deshmukh. The movie is lightly inspired from the English series Dawson Creek.

Hrithik Roshan and Suzzane Khan have been blessed with another child. And Hrehaan has got a baby brother to play with.

Hrithik’s wife Suzanne Khan gave birth to a boy on Thursday at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. The baby was born at 11.27 am local time. The boy is said to be healthy and weighs around 3.3 kgs.

“Both the baby and the mother are doing fine,” a doctor at the hospital told a news agency.

Hrithik, who accompanied her right to the door of the delivery room, was seen beaming with pride. Hrithik had been putting off all his travels, outside Mumbai, for last few weeks because of Suzanne’s pregnancy.

The couple had said, in an earlier interview, that they were looking forward to a girl, as they already have a cute son named Hrehaan. They had also added that they’d be equally excited, if it’s a boy. And a boy it is indeed, for the star couple!

Sister-in-law Farah Ali Khan, who became spokesperson for the Roshans and Khans, said Hrithik was on top of the world.

“One look at the baby and Hrithik said, ‘He looks so much like his brother, Hrehaan!’,” reported Farah. “He’s the most perfectly formed baby I have seen. Hrithik stayed with Sussanne all through.”

 Farhan Akthar who has directed films like Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya and Don in the past will take on acting with his next film Rock On, where he plays the role of a rock star. Arjun Rampal who has also been absent from the big screen for a while will also be starring in the film.

Rock On will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani. The movie also marks the debut of television actress Prachi Desai.

Talking about her Bollywood debut opposite Farhan Akthar, Prachi Desia says, “I am very happy to start my career in Bollywood with such a big film. I play the female lead. The offer was so good that I just had to say yes. Farhan is fantastic and it is a great opportunity to be able to work with him. I am lucky to be chosen for the film.”

Nikhil Advani who started his career with one of Bollywood’s best made films Kal Ho Na Ho but followed it up by perhaps the worst film, Salaam-E-Ishq, has a point to prove this time round with Chandini Chowk To China.

Chandini Chowk To China earlier known as Mera Naam Chin Chin Choo and also Made in China, is written by Sridhar Raghavan. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone who is likely to play a double role in the film.
