At 65, Amitabh Bachchan can give the stiffest of competition to any of the Khans. For all you fans of Amitabh Bachchan songs, you are about to get real lucky. Amitabh who last sang the heart rendering Rozana for Nishabd is all geared up to sing for his next two films, Ravi Chopra’s Bhootnath and Sujoy Ghosh’s Alladin, in which he plays the genie. Riteish Deshmukh plays the role of Alladin.

“I’ve sung a rap song for Vishal-Shekhar for my ghost’s character in Bhootnath and another rap song for my genie’s character in Alladdin. Plus I recorded a soft lyrical number for Bhootnath. As soon as I return I’ll record one more song for Alladin.”

His debut film Saawariya is directed by none other than Bollywood’s best, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film releasing on 9th November is the talk of the town and so is Ranbir Kapoor.

After Farhan Akthar’s Don Remake, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in yet another movie remake that had Big B in it. Guess which one? It’s the Yash Raj Film classic Deewar. And Shah Rukh Khan wants to play Amitabh’s role. We do not know what point Shah Rukh is trying to prove but surely he couldn’t outdo Amitabh Bachchan in the Don remake, let’s see if he gets lucky with Deewar.

Reports say Shahrukh Khan wants Yash Raj Chopra who directed Deewar, to direct the remake too. Sources reveal that he has proposed Saif and Kareena’s name for Shashi Kapoor and Neetu Singh’s roles respectively and Boman Irani’s name for the character Iftekhar played. Shefali Shah will step into Nirupa Roy’s role and play mom to Saif and Shah Rukh Khan.
