Abhay Deol is back with yet another hatke film. His last film, Ek Chaalis Ki Last Local had a good dose of black humor to go with an unsual story. And his next film, Manorama Six Feet Under seems to be belong to the genre of thrillers albeit the (Byomkesh Bakshi style). Manorama Six Feet Under is directed and written by debutante Navdeep Singh, who seems to join the bandwagon of the hatke directors.

The movie trailer has a creepy feel to it and is indicative of the theme ( detective) behind the movie. Abhay Deol sports a new look in the film. He adorns a moustache and this seems a role quite different from his lover boy roles. Manorama Six Feet Under boasts of talented artistes like Abhay Deol, Raima Sen, Sarika, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, to name a few. The movie was recently shown at the OSIAN Film Festival and received a lot of praise from one and all. So here’s hoping for a good film by debutante Navdeep Singh.
