First Look : Shahid And Kareena’s Love Story “Jab We Met”

Fida, Chup Chup Ke and 36 China Town the real romance of Shahid and Kareena Kapoor has looked a bit jaded when it comes to movies. So will Shahid and Kareena get lucky fourth time round with Imtiaz Ali’s romantic film, “Jab We Met“.

Imtiaz Ali’s first film as a director was the Abhay Deol and Ayesha Takia comedy, Socha Na Tha. And with “Jab We Met” Imtiaz is sticking to the same genre of romantic comedy. Though Socha Na Tha did not do well at the box office, I quite liked Imtiaz’s subtle style and simplicity  in his direction. And I am surely looking forward to Jab We Met.

The story of Jab We Met revolves around two strangers who meet in a train. Says Shahid Kapoor, ‘This is the first real romantic story me and Kareena will be seen in.’ Ok Shahid hope your real romantic story clicks this time round

Interestingly the title of the film was  selected not by the director or the team of Jab We met but by an audience poll. After conducting many polls, the title of Imtiaz Ali’s film, produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision as decided as JAB WE MET!

Majority of the people have voted for that amongst four options namely Punjab Mail, Ishq via Bhatinda, Jab We Met and Audience Choice.
