Rani Mukherjee is playing middle class girl who takes on to prostitution in Yash Raj’s Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. The film is directed by Pradeep Sarkar. After some controversy regarding the title, Yash Raj Films, changed title of Laaga Chunari Mein Daag to Laaga Chunari Mein Daag…The Journey Of A Woman.
Also starring in the film are Kunal Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma , Jaya Bachchan and Anupam Kher. Let’s wait and watch whether Pradeep Sarkaar can create the same magic of Parineeta with his second film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag.

Saw the trailer during a screening of Chak De. The cimematography was excellent from what little I could see in the trailer, and seems to be a movie worth watching.
