Bappa Lahri Plans To Sue Abhijeet
3,240 viewsJust yesterday we had brought to your notice, Abhijeet’s rude comments against Bollywood music director Bappi Lahri. Now responding to Abhijeet’s remarks Bappa Lahri, Bappida’s son, has decided to take legal action against Abhijeet.
When a TV journalist approached Abhijeet for his comment, he simply took off on Bappi Lahiri. It is learnt that Bappida was taken aback when he saw the interview. “Abhijeet is a frustrated singer and I have been tolerating his nonsense for a long time. Now it’s time to take legal action against him. Bardasht ki bhi ek hadh hoti hai!” says Bappida.
For more than a year singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya had been humiliating music composer and singer Bappi Lahiri. It started off when both were judging for L’il Champs Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee. It was clearly evident from Abhijeet’s body language that he had some issues to settle with Bappida.
The War Is ON
“We had no idea what Abhijeet has said in his interview,” says Bappa Lahiri, son of Bappida. “Only when we came back from Ekta Kapoor’s birthday party on Thursday, a friend SMSed me saying that the news channel was showing an interview where Abhijeet has unnecessarily dragged my dad’s name and abused him. It was just not done. I saw the repeat telecast and then called Abhijeet. But he was not man enough to face me.
He slammed the phone saying, ‘Don’t call me!’ Now we have decided to take legal action against Abhijeet. Enough is enough,” says a livid Bappa. Adds Bappa, “Abhijeet is doing another talent hunt show Voice of India for Star Plus. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge is more popular than Voice of India and he must be jealous about that.I really don’t get the idea of hitting out at my dad, when the question was about Ismail Darbar’s comment on singers.”

Abhijeet is a singer by fluke. He has neither a good enough voice, nor the attitude or the basic musical knowledge essential for the top job. Naturally enough, he has always remained a sidey. But for reasons, best known to him, he has a huge inflated ego. And he flaunts it, by time and again attacking established norms, personalities and sentiments. While there is no reason why anyone should take any of his comments under the slightest of serious considerations, I believe that very recently he has started getting onto everyones’ heads. He needs a good thrust in his back (which probabl Bappida’s legal action against him will deliver) and a reminder on where he belongs.
Additionally, the very fact that Abhijeet is one of the judges in Amul-Star VOI makes the proposition of wasting my costly time, watching it, totally uninteresting to me.

I have been watching star voice of India from quite some time and most of the time Abhijeet was encouraging even though his style may be bad. If you note the content of what he says disregarding the tone or style, it seems to be brutally naked truth. He is also full of wit and humour.
Overall I feel he is a nice guy and a arguably the best singer we have, but his comments about bappi lahiri was uncalled for (unless he has some personal scores to settle for).

wat a crap let me add one thing to ur knowledge tha abhijeet may not be the best like sonu or kk but he is surely not bad man and he has a very powerfull classical base , where the popularity of the two shows star voice and srgmp is concerned star voice is a much much better and popular show and srgmp 2007 has a trp much lower then star voice

Abhijeet is such a big loser, he has been part of the music industry for suc a long time but still cudnt secure himself a powerful spot..and the reason is simple, he cant sing, so stop trying abhijeet, get over it!, u just dont have it, accept the fact like a man and find urself a new hobby instead of trying to get attention by insulting other people in the industry
