Sajid Khan’s Heyy Babyy is ready for release and the movietonic gets to you an exclusive promo of the film. As expected Sajid, being a funny man himself has ventured into known territory of comedy for his directorial debut.Heyy Baby stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Vidya Balan. Oops and yes a cute little baby.

The movie deals with the life of three casonovas( Akshay, Ritesh and Fardeen) whose merriful life comes to a stand-still when a baby arrives at their door step and one of them is it’s father .The three guys have to now search from among the various girls with whom they have slept to discover who it’s mother would be . A rather different story indeed!

Sajid Khan should be thanking his stars as he definitely has some of Bollywood’s finest comedy actors for Heyy Babyy and hence his work as a director should have been easier. But directing a few months old baby should have been really an arduous task. Not really says Sajid.

“By using technology, I can shoot with a baby even if the baby is sad or crying and later morph a smiling face on the baby’s original face. So, as a film-maker, it makes it convenient for me to shoot,” Khan explains.

Heyy Babyy is budgeted at 40 crore and its speciality will be a promotional song starring as 21Bollywood leading ladies. The leading ladies who gladly participated in the marathon song included Ameesha Patel, Diya Mirza, Koena Mitra, Shamita Shetty, Neha Dhupia, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora, Amrita Rao, Tara Sharma, Minissha Lamba, Celina Jaitley, Riya Sen, Sophie, Masumi, Aarti Chabria and Hrishita Bhatt . And if rumors are to believed Preity Zinta, Bipasha Basu & Sushma Reddy will also be in the song .

So Sajid seems to have all the ammunition ready to deliver a hit in Heyy Baby. So now no excuses Sajid.

The first look promo of Heyy Babyy is well done and gives the synopsis of the film. So will Sajid be able to equal his sister Farah Khan’s achievements as a director (Main Hoon Na)? Let’s just wait and watch. Until then here is an exclusive promo of the movie Heyy Babyy.

Madhuri Dixit was simply a dream on the sets of Koffee with Karan. She mesmerised one and all with her beauty and that typical Madhuri-1000- watt-smile. Why was the show only for one hour ? I could have kept looking at Madhuri for hoursand still not got bored. Karan Johar hats off to you for bringing Madhuri back on the screen for us fans. Surely now me all the more excited to watch Madhuri’s comeback film with Yash Raj Films, Aaja Nachle.

Amul Star Voice of India directed by Gajendra Singh( the master of Indian Reality Tv shows) is in some kind of trouble. Apparently Alka Yagnik, one among the five judges of Voice of India has decided to call it quits from the music talent hunt show.

Alka Yagnik says that her reason for quitting the show are the constant altercations on the show regarding views about the contestants performances on the stage. Alka feels that having such constant fights with fellow judges is not good for her image and has therefore
decided that she no longer wants to continue her association with Amul Star Voice of India.

Why the fight?

Sources say that, “Aadesh, Jatin and Lalit were of the opinion that singers today do not have the range of yesteryear’s maestros. This also mars music directors’ creativity. Alka and Abhijeet however were of the opinion that the music directors today do not have the talent that the people in the golden era had. This led to an unpleasant debate. Alka felt that the music directors were being unfair.”

Supposedly Aadesh Shrivastava was angry with Gajendra singh for calling Alka Yagnik as the melody queen.As he believed that no one other than Lata Mangeshkar should be referred to by that title.

An exasperated Alka says, “Unfortunate as it may be, I have decided to quit. There is too much heat there, the arguments and the noise only gets uglier. Everybody forever is trying to prove their point.”

Ayesha Takia the sweet bubbly Bollywood girl has declared that she will not do any kissing or love making scenes for the silver screen. Now this is surely one brave girl. With actresses these days going the Hollywood way and finding no problems to bare it all in their films, Ayesha is one girl who will not like do any such scenes and will not compromise her values  even if it means losing some good  roles.

As Ayesha puts it straighty… “She says her values don’t allow it”. In fact, Ayesha has said no to a kiss in Nagesh Kukunoor’s next film. And does her boyfriend  Farhan Azmi got to do anything with her No Kissing Stand?” “First of all, I never said no to the film. I said no to the scene. I can’t say no to Nagesh. After ‘Dor’, he’s a friend and a director I respect immensely. I still think we can work our way around the scene.

No kisses for Ayesha Takia

Last week we brought to you the Chak De India theatrical promo but its quality was quite low and we apologise for the video and sound quality. The hype behind this movie is totally justified. Firstly its a Yash Raj Films venture, secondly its Shah Rukh Khan’s first film this year after last year’s Don and thirdly Chak De India is Shimit Amin’s return to the silver screen as a director after his critically acclaimed Ab Tak Chappan. So with a hattrcik of plus points there can be nothing wrong than can happen with this film. But all said and done, you never know what can happen. Take Jhoom Barabar Jhoom for example, a perfect example of a film that had huge expectations but that bombed at the box office big time.

 This week’s Koffee With Karan episode is going to be perhaps the most awaited one. Why? Coz  Bollywood’s  Ek Do Teen Girl is going to join Karan on the sets of Koffee With Karan . This will be Madhuri’s first public appearance in years. So the episode is a must watch for all Madhuri fans. Marriage seems to have made Madhuri Dixit even more beautiful. Her film, Aaja Nachley, a Yash Raj Film,will also be releasing later this year. So here’s a sneak preview of the chat between Madhuri Dixit and Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan.

Karan: Welcome to Koffee with Karan, Madhuri Have you seen the show?

Madhuri: Yes I have seen a few episodes

Karan: You are back Madhuri after so many years how many years has it been?

Madhuri: Hmmm6 y ears

Karan: And yours is possibly the most talked about comeback how does it feel?

Madhuri: It feels great it feels good to be back  it feels great to, you know meet everybody I have worked with  friends and family its great being back

Karan: So, were you at all nervous to face the camera on day one?

Madhuri: Well, day one I was a little hassled.

Karan: After all those years

Madhuri: Ya, after all those years ahhhh, I dont know why you feel you have lost touch, you know you are going to be on the set, getting ready, the whole process you know and I was wondering will I be able to do it but, once I was there and I started working the first day went by, and on the second day I was fine

Karan: Completely detached in the 6 years that you have been there in these six years were you in touch with Indian cinema at all?

Madhuri: It was hard because I was having kids there was Aryan and then 2 years later, I had Ryan  I was really busy so couldnt really catch up with anything.

Karan: What about Ram, has he been totally supportive of your decision to come down?

Chain Kulli Ki Main Kulii stars Bollywood’s most credible actor Rahul Bose and 13-year old child artiste called Zain Khan. Chain Kulli Ki Main Kulli does seem fun from its trailers . But trailers can be deceptive at times. So how is Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii as per the critics. Does Chain Kullii write a new chapter in children’s films made in Bollywood or does it add onto the growing list of bad films that are being doled out recently? So let’s check out what the critics have to say.

Taran Adarsh : “In a nutshell, CHAIN KULII KI MAIN KULII isn’t great cinema. Conversely, it’s not a below-the-mark movie-going experience either. It floats somewhere in between.”

Movie Rating : 1.5/5

Rajeev Masand : ” For the most part, I have to confess, Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii is engaging because it’s simple and because it doesn’t really digress from its plot.”

Jiah Khan made hot news the moment she made her debut on the big screen with the controversial Nishabd, opposite Amitabh Bachchan. And now the sultry beauty has made news again. The latest is that Jiah Khan has bagged a role opposite none other than Aamir Khan in the much talked about Ghajini.

According to sources Jiah Khan and Tamil actress Asin will be paired opposite Aamir Khan in this hindi remake of  Christopher Nolan’s thriller Memento. Ghajini revolves around  an amnesiac man’s hunt for his fiancée’s killer.

Initially, Ayesha Takia was supposed to do one of the lead roles, but she later backed out of Ghajini for unknown reasons.  Kangana Ranaut then signed the film, however, when the actress went to town proclaiming her good fortune,  Aamir reportedly got quite pisssed off  with her and decided to drop the idea of casting her. Priyanka Chopra was then said to be next in line for the same role, and the actress, reports claimed, was very keen to sign the film. Unfortunately, that was not to be.  So now its Jiah Khan opposite Aamir Khan for Ghajini  and hopefully there will not be further changes. So that’s another feather onto Jiah khan’s cap.

I have seen the original film Memento  and the screenplay, editing, story, direction are just fantastic. It’s a top notch film and to be able to replicate it will be a tough task. Thank God, Ghajini will be having Bollywood’s finest actor Aamir Khan playing the lead role. Just waiting to see how Bollywood be able to remake Memento. Hope its not a let down.

Aamir Khan is also reportedly going to sport a bald look in the film. However, Aamir will not have a bald look throughout the film. Only the second half of the Ghajini demands that he have no hair. So the extra professional Aamir khan is going to go the bald way….

 I do not know what kind of fetish these Indiian film makers have developed towards diamonds. If any robbery is to be made in the film then the target is DIAMONDS. Are there no other valuables to rob? Check out some latest films, Awara Pagal Deewana, Fool N Final, Super. In all these movies the heroes are after diamonds only.

Maybe these protagonists have been influenced by the Sangini diamonds catchline : Heera Hai Sada Ke Liye. Or is it some kind of superstitious these producers have developed that if their heroes rob diamonds then their movies will become hit.  Director Ahmed Khan has seen to it that all such superstitions are washed away. His latest release Fool N Final where all the characters are after diamonds, was a complete washout at the box office.

Ok let me not endanger my grey cells too much  by thinking too much about the sudden attraction towards diamonds. The point is that Anubhav Sinha who gave us the high on style but low on story Dus is soon to release his next film Cash. And if the story is anything to go by, it will be yet another movie revolving around diamonds.
