Video : Tanushree’s Hot Song In Raqeeb

Pritam’s music has not struck gold this time for Anurag Singh’s Raqeeb. It is rather disappointing to hear such a dull and lacklustre musical work in a Pritam’s film album after his back-to-back super-hits numbers which have been topping music charts. If you check out the music albums of Life In A Metro and Raqeeb, it would be rather difficult to digest that both the albums are composed by the same music director, Pritam.

The title track, Dushmana comes in the musical mould of loud and fast paced musical arrangements where the singer narrates the theme of the film with the feel of obsession and passion in the soundtrack “Dushmana”. Kunal Ganjawala delivers a lackadaisical performance with a rather banal music by Pritam and stereo-typical lyrics by Pritam. The song fails to promise anything extravagant or innovative for its conventional feel and sounds purely situational in the context of its musical strength.

The only good thing about the song is perhaps it’s music video in which Tanushree Dutta sizzles and makes the temperatures rise! Check out this video from Raqeeb.
