Mohit Suri the talented director who gave hits likie Zeher and Kalyug is back. His next directorial venture is called Awaarapan and this one too like his other films is a Bhatt Production. The movie stars Emraan Hashmi, Shreya Saran ,Mrinalini Sharma and Rehan Khan. Pritam is giving the music for Aawarapan and Studio 18 is doing the international promotion of the film.
Shreya Saran who has done some excellent work down south is the heroine and Apaharan bombshell, Mrinalini Sharma (last seen in the sensational item number opposite Ajay Devgan) are making their debut performances in the lead with Aawarapan. Shreya has also acted opposite Rajnikant in Sivaji.
Emraan Hashmi has been building weight and developing muscles for his role in Aawarapan. The role also demanded Emraan to grow his hair.
At Rs 18 crore, Aawarapan is the most expensive films the Bhatts have ever made. (Their other films cost approximately Rs 4 crore). “This film is sure to stand out as Emraan has been portrayed in an altogether different light. He isn’t playing a naughty kisser but an emotional person with a lot of depth. I’m sure that this film will also put Mohit in a different league,” says Mahesh Bhatt.
