Bhool Bhulaiya Priya Darshan’s Next Movie

After Bhagam Bhag Priyadarshan’s next film is going to be Bhool Bhulaiya. Previously titled Chandramukhi, Bhool Bhulaiya is a remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam blockbuster movie Manichitrathazhu. Manichitrathazu was one of the all time hits of malayalam films running for more than 600 days.

Bhool Bhulaiya will feature Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja and Amisha Patel in pivotal roles with Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav in supporting roles. Pritam will score the music whilst S. Theeru and N. Gopalakrishnan handle the cinematography and editing of the film, respectively. Vidya Balan will be seen playing a Kathak dancer, Chandramukhi who suffers from split personality.

Speaking about Bhool Bhulaiya, Priyadarshan told a news agency: “With this movie, I am trying to reveal many dimensions of human psychology.” And Priya Darshan promises that this is going to be a completely different film from the regular Bollywood fare.

The director says the film dealing with the period 100 years ago is set on the back drop of Benaras and will have a period element even though the shooting is predominantly done in Rajasthan.

Bhool Bulaiya Movie Preview 

Bhool Bhulaiya tells the story of a young couple arriving at the ancestral mansion. Ignoring the protests of their superstitious uncle, they move in to mansion, when unusual and supernatural events begin to happen. The couple’s close friend, a psychiatrist is called in to investigate.
