Hattrick Movie Reviews From Critics Allover

Hattrick releases in theatres this week and plans to catch onto the ongoing World Cup fever. So will the plan give out good dividends or will it be a dampner at the Box Office? Read what critics all over have to say. Movietonic has its review of Hattrick, you can go read it. Check out these other reviews too, so that you can decide for yourself whether to watch it or skip it.

Amit — ” To all you cricket and non-cricket lovers, stay at home and watch a Scotland and Netherlands match, that shall be far more entertaining than watching Hattrick on the Big Screen.

Rating – 3/10

Taran Adarsh — “On the whole, HATTRICK is an average product at best. At the box-office, it won’t score a century, nor will it be clean bowled at the start. It would somewhere be in the half-century range.”

Rating – 2/5

Meetu — ” There couldn’t have been a more generic story line. Replace cricket with any other obsession for the two cricket-crazy characters and the movie would be the same – awful.

Rating – 1/5

Komal Mehta — “Hattrick is bearable but not half as entertaining as a cricket match would be. At the end of it, all you remember is that it had something to do with cricket.

Rating – 2.5/5

Ashok Nayak — “Milan Lutharia understands the grammar of film-making very well. He has tackled the emotional scenes brilliantly. “

Rating -3/5

Naomi Dutta — “Hattrick starts out promising to be a light entertainer, but then the entertainment dries up and the film just becomes plain silly. We recommend you forget about Hattrick and watch the World Cup instead!

Rating – 2/5

N.K. Deoshi — “ Although Hat Trick offers nothing stellar and nothing exceptional, the movie keeps you bound to your chair because of its simple approach to complex characters and because of performances by the star cast.

Rating – 3/5

Martin D’Souza — “Cricket is used as a tool to lure the viewer with the World Cup on in the Caribbean, but you end up leaving the theatre with an aversion for the game.

Rating – 1/5

Hetal Adesara — “Luthria’s last two movies Taxi No. 9211 and Deewaar – Let’s Bring Our Heros Home have been a disappointment at the box office. Ironically, it is with Hattrick, that he seems to have scored a ‘hattrick’ of flops.

Rating – 1.5/5

Sreeram — ” If India are losing badly to Bangladesh and you want to run away from the T.V, you can watch this.

Rating – Timepass

Joginder Tuteja — “Good performances. Sensitive portrayal of situations. Light hearted moments. Sheer fun. This is how one would describe HAT TRICK which is simply as original as it gets. And yes, we mean it.

Rating – 3.5/5
