Hrithik’s been offered Rambo 4

If sources are to believed then Hrithik Roshan has bben offered to be a part of the famous Hollywood series Rambo 4 . Hrithik has been supposedly offered to play the role of an Afghan boy who grows up to become Rambo’s successor. If indeed there is any truth to the rumors then it definitely will be a great news for Bollywood and Hrithik fans from around the world . Considering Hrithik’s dynamic looks coupled by his great physique the rumor may well turn out to be true .

Vikram Bhatt who directed Hrithik in Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage (2002), says, “I think Hrithik is already such a big star and has a huge franchise called Krrish so I don’t know why he would want to further Sylvester Stallone’s franchise by starring in a Rambo film. However if he does do it I’m sure he’ll do really well. I think he would do great in Hollywood, the sky is just the start for someone like him.”

An ad filmmaker turned director who wished to remain anonymous feels, “Hrithik is the only Indian actor who can look the part (of Rambo). He’s fit enough and after Krrish, he will go into another zone altogether as it’s a Hollywood production and they’ll spend the right kind of money to give it the right amount of backup.”

When enquired about the speculative rumors  Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan said —”This is the first time I’ve heard anything like this. No, Hrithik has not been approached for a ‘Rambo’ movie so far.”

Asked whether Hrithik would accept the role if he was approached, the senior Roshan replied, “We’ll have to take a look at the script and the role before we decide anything.” Will Hrithik take over the Rambo legacy? That, as they say, would be a blast!

Rambo I

Wandering into a small town in Oregon, Vietnam veteran John Rambo is arrested for vagrancy by corrupt, abusive Sheriff Will Teasle.  When Rambo can’t stand anymore abuse at the hands of Teasle and his deputies, Rambo goes crazy, killing a deputy and escaping into the surrounding hills, massively armed with every weapon he needs. From there on begins a bloddy search for Rambo  and the viewers get to witness some of the best action scenes on the big  screen .

Rambo II 

John Rambo is serving time in a federal prison. When the US military hears of American soldiers missing in action from the Vietnam war possibly still being alive and held captive, Colonel Trautman is authorized to send Rambo in to rescue them. They send him on a mission and set him up to fail …….but they forgot that they were dealing wqith none other than RAMBO .

Rambo III 

John Rambo’s former Vietnam superior, Colonel Samuel Trautman, has been assigned to lead a mission to help the Mujahedeen rebels who are fighting the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, but the Buddhist Rambo turns down Trautman’s request that Rambo help out. When the mission goes belly up and Trautman is kidnapped and tortured by Russian Colonel Zaysen, Rambo launches a rescue effort and allies himself with the Mujahedeen rebels and gets their help in trying to rescue Trautman from Zaysen.

Rambo IV: The Pearl of the Cobra( unreleased)

Rambo is living a monastic lifestyle in Bangkok and salvaging old PT boats and tanks for scrap metal. When a group of volunteers bringing supplies into Burma disappears, a relative of one of the missing missionaries begs Rambo to find them. He heads off with a team of young guns determined to rescue those that have been taken
